Forgot the if=
Try
dd if=/dev/disks/naa.6006016046c03c0027a38f5648ae56f2 bs=1M count=1537 | hexdump > /tmp/markison.1537.hex
If possible use the first command because it means less work for me as I dont have to convert the hexdump back to binary
